It’s the mid-'90s at the PulseNet PC support call centre. Gary Edwards is proud to be the DJ for customers waiting on hold. After finding out that his new power-crazed boss plans to replace him with an automated phone system, Gary is forced to fight for not only his job but the very existence of his craft. Presented with a golden opportunity, Gary uses his unique set of musical skills to stage a last-ditch sonic kamikaze, hoping to expose the boss’ wicked plans and, in the process, show everybody why he is the pharaoh of the phone lines, the don of dial-up, the baron of background beats, the famous hold jockey, DJ Gary Deluxe…
