The Death by a 1000 Cuts

A hardworking detective spends his time cracking cases in the underbelly of a decrepit metropolis. Yet, unfortunately for him, he’s not actually real. He is “Detective 2”, a fictional character in a film: a nameless, minor character, who must die in service of the plot. When Detective 2 manages to break free from his destiny and avoid his death, he is set on a collision course against his killer, and creator, The Director.
